Giving Back to The Servants We Serve

Every year, hundreds of responders and work zone operators are struck and killed on the road. As part of our efforts to address this problem, HAAS Alert is launching the Giveback Campaign, a permanent commitment to donate funds to four leading organizations dedicated to caring for workers and families in the industries we serve. In 2005, the International Towing and Recovery Hall of Fame and Museum established its Survivor Fund to provide immediate financial support to families of towing operators who lose their lives in the line of service in the towing industry.

National Fallen Firefighters Foundation

Congress created the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation to lead a nationwide effort to honor America’s fallen firefighters. Their mission is to honor and remember America’s fallen fire heroes and to provide resources to assist their families in rebuilding their lives and work within the fire service community to reduce firefighter deaths and injuries.

ATSS Foundation

The American Traffic Safety Services (ATSS) Foundation promotes roadway safety through charitable giving and public awareness programs. As the charitable arm of the American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA), the ATSS Foundation advances programs to reduce work zone deaths and injuries, provides scholarships for the loved ones of fallen or permanently disabled work zone workers, and maintains a National Work Zone Memorial to honor the lives of fallen roadway workers, motorists, pedestrians, law enforcement officers, public safety officers, and children.
