About the Role
The Project Manager at HAAS Alert is a dual role responsible for interfacing with customers and internal resources to determine software requirements and manage projects from conception to rollout. The ideal candidate will understand service-oriented architecture, spatial data, and geolocation concepts, and can manage and contribute to projects throughout the project lifecycle.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with customers and internal resources to gather and define project requirements.
- Identify and build project timelines and resources, utilizing Gantt charts and project plans.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation for reporting to senior management
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to take in their inputs and explain project plans and status.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Understands service-oriented architecture.
- Minimum 5 years of industry experience working with a software engineering team.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing and contributing to projects throughout the project lifecycle from ideation to rollout.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize work based on urgency and customer needs.
- Understands spatial data and geolocation concepts.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Proficient with project management software (e.g. JIRA, Asana).
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proven track record of managing large and complex IT projects.
A++ Qualifications:
- Certified: Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II
- Proactive and Independent: You take the bull by the horns and need little hand-holding.
- Experience in Tech: Must have worked in the startup tech industry, preferably with some exposure to hardware.
- Flexibility: Willingness to occasionally take calls at non-standard hours (for international collaboration).
- Leadership Skills: You are a leader who can align and motivate the team.
- Adaptability: You thrive in dynamic, evolving environments and are comfortable with ambiguity and change.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Cultural Fit: Someone who can seamlessly integrate into the team, building strong relationships while also driving project success.
