HAAS Alert's connected asset platform Safety Cloud® provides military and emergency responder agencies with advanced situational awareness and coordinated response capabilities via vehicle-to-vehicle communication in the field. Built to meet all relevant federal requirements, Safety Cloud can be customized to meet unique government use cases.
Situational Awareness Interface
Safety Cloud shows the real-time status of all on- and off-base emergency service vehicles and assets in a secure, customized situational awareness dashboard accessible on any device. Configurable to include fleet and non-fleet type assets including supply, storage, COVID hotspot identification, and more.
Collision Prevention
In the event of active emergencies or hazards, our technology lets your team send customizable digital alerts directly from fleet vehicles/assets to drivers via navigation apps and connected car systems. Enable stealth mode for control over when and how civilians receive alert notifications.
Mutual Alerting Capability
Safety Cloud alerts allow officer vehicles to directly communicate in the field. Notify other fleets via an in-dash notification system when a potential collision with another fleet vehicle/asset is detected in order to allow time to reduce speed and avoid collisions.
Advanced Applications
HAAS Alert provides emergency status and real-time location tracking to power new solutions and enable innovative use cases. Integrate dashboard, fleet, and asset data into external infrastructure or systems, including emergency centers, central command —even across agencies into other Federal, State, and local systems.

Safety Cloud service can be activated on select telematics and connectivity platforms, enabling fleets to deliver alerts without installing additional hardware.
More on integrationsGovernment agencies can equip Safety Cloud to any vehicle in two ways.
HA-5: Hardware
The HA-5 Transponder connects with vehicles and other deployed assets to automatically deliver digital alerts to other drivers when triggers like lightbars are activated. The transponder easily integrates with most existing set-ups and includes upgrade capabilities, and even better, there’s minimal down time and no data plan.
HA-D: Integrated
HA-D allows fleets to directly activate Safety Cloud technology on existing CAD, GPS, or telematics systems. Using a hardware-free, direct back-end integration, HA-D links existing devices with Safety Cloud to know when lights and sirens are on and deliver digital alerts. Entire fleets can be activated with no additional installation or hardware necessary.
